Hello, my name is Rachel, and I'm the Founder and Product Maker at Misty Candle Co! Misty Candle Co is a homemade candle company located in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. I offer scented, wood wick, luxury soy candles with "MotorCity Spirit"!
I have done extensive research through reading articles and trial and error to come up with a long lasting, strong scent emitting, candles that many have come to say are their "favorite candles ever!".

All candles are crafted in small batches and hand-poured with love. Within these candles, I use the finest ingredient produced in the USA.

Soy wax is created from hydrogenated soy beans. Soy is a natural plant grown and harvested mainly by US farmers. There are no toxins in soy wax, compared to the several toxins that are highly released when burning paraffin wax. Overall, soy is a natural product, which results in a clean candle burn with better air quality.
Soy candles are *especially* a safer choice for families with children, pets and those with allergies, due to no toxins being within the wax we use.
Soy wax burns at a lower temperature and holds fragrance better than paraffin wax.
Soy candles may cost more than paraffin candles; however, with the lower temperature & slower burn, soy candles last 30%-50% longer than paraffin candles.

Many mass produced/retail store bought candles contain paraffin wax. Use Google to search for the ingredients that are in your current favorite candles for more information on what you are inhaling when they are burning.
